This Troupe is built for young comedians and improvisers, giving them a platform to develop their writing and performing skills.
About the Program
Young comedians and improvisers ages 13-19 hone their technique through writing and performing individual and group sketches, learning to take ideas from the brain to the page to the stage. Students learn collaboration, communication, creative problem solving, and to trust their instincts through games, classic improv exercises and live performance opportunities and collaborations with The Improv Centre on Granville Island. Key skills students will learn include; improvisation; sketch writing and teamwork.
Auditions
Admissions to the Advanced Musical Theatre Troupe are by audition only. Students are placed according to their age, experience, skill, and goals. Find out more about our upcoming auditions.
