After-School Program

Act Your Art Out is a transformative after-school program for youth ages 9–13. Offered in partnership with the Surrey School District and led by experienced Arts Umbrella instructors, the program supports ongoing exploration of theatre and visual arts, helping students develop self-expression, collaboration, and creative problem-solving through engaging, hands-on activities. By fostering resilience, emotional growth, and a strong sense of belonging, Act Your Art Out empowers young people to uncover their creativity and thrive within their school community.

Spring Break Program

Delivered in partnership with the Surrey School District, Arts Umbrella’s Spring Break programming offers youth ages 9–13 an opportunity to explore physical theatre, visual arts, and drama. Led by experienced Arts Umbrella instructors, the program provides a safe and inclusive space where young people can build confidence, express themselves creatively, and stay engaged in meaningful activities while school is out. Through immersive, hands-on experiences, participants develop social and creative skills while connecting with their peers and community.
