Artistic Flair

The Artistic Flair program fosters creative expression, self-respect, and teamwork through dance.

Artistic Flair delivers classes in creative dance to school-age children (6-12 years) living in East Vancouver’s Hastings-Sunrise community.

Over the course of 8 weeks, students learn basic dance movements across a variety of styles, including hip hop and contemporary, to help encourage fitness and coordination in a fun way. This weekly after-school program provides young people with more than just dance instruction: it gives them a safe space to thrive, meaningful connections with peers and mentors, and a consistent creative outlet.
