Performance Opportunities

Our students are given numerous opportunities to perform live throughout the year at every level of our programming – allowing them to cultivate and refine performance skills, grow their confidence and develop as the next generation of dance artists. Some of our signature annual performances include:
Sunday Performance Series
The Sunday Performance Series features new and innovative works-in-progress by leading Canadian choreographers and special guest artists. Performances are held over a series of Sunday afternoons during the winter and spring at the Jack and Darlene Poole Theatre at Arts Umbrella Granville Island.
Midseason Performances
Every year in March, Midseason Performances showcase world-class repertoire and brand-new works at the Vancouver Playhouse.
