Shelly Rosenblum

Shelly Rosenblum is a curator, writer, and cultural strategist based in Vancouver. She served as the inaugural Curator of Academic Programs at the Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery at the University of British Columbia for many years, where she developed innovative programs connecting artists, students, researchers, and communities.

She holds a PhD from Brown University, and has taught at Brown University, Wesleyan University, and UBC, and has served as President of the Board of Western Front artist-run centre. Shelly is passionate about the role of the arts in education and public life and is committed to fostering opportunities for young people to learn, create, and thrive.
