Samantha Tawaststjerna
Manager, Dance Programming
Samantha’s relationship with Arts Umbrella spans more than 10 years and many roles —student, teacher, and administrator. She is an alumni of the Post-Secondary Dance Diploma Program, after which she went on to perform in Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, and Toronto, as well as work on a start-up non-profit organization as an early-stage entrepreneur.
Samantha returned to Arts Umbrella in 2022 as the Dance Admissions Specialist and now serves as Manager, Dance Programming. With experience on so many sides of the organization, she has a deep appreciation for the experience of every student who walks through the doors, and brings a genuine love of the art form to her work every day.
