Riba Kalbkletzel
Riba has been an art instructor for over 30 years in both Mexico and Canada. She received her BSc in Education from the University of Southern California, and a diploma in Art for Children and Creativity and Education from UAM, Mexico. She is also a Certified Expressive Arts Therapist.
Currently, Riba works at Arts Umbrella where she teaches a multitude of classes, including Parent and Me, Mixed Media, Painting and Drawing to early learners, and outreach programs. Riba has also held instructional workshops for teachers on how to teach art classes and develop art curriculum.
In addition, Riba works at Vancouver Talmud Torah Elementary School as an art specialist, teaching both preschool and kindergarten students.
Riba is passionate about creating programs that allow children to be creative and express themselves, all while being inspired by and learning about art history.
