Visual Arts at Downtown Eastside Neighbourhood House
A weekly visual arts program for youth living in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
Weekly visual arts classes are offered to children ages 7–10 living in or near the Downtown Eastside, providing both artistic and personal growth opportunities.
Students explore drawing, painting, and mixed media while also strengthening life skills such as communication, social interaction, and self-confidence. Beyond developing creativity, the program offers a safe, supportive environment where young people can build connections and foster a sense of belonging.
