Marylou (she/her) is a mixed race/Filipino-Canadian settler based in Vancouver on the unceded, traditional, and ancestral territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-waututh.

Upon graduating from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, Marylou has dedicated her professional career to working alongside organizations with the mission to better the lives of children and youth. Marylou has held positions with various inclusive education initiatives including the BC Initiative for Inclusive Post-Secondary Education and ARC Foundation.

With close to 10 years of experience in the non-profit world in both administrative and direct student support roles, Marylou is thrilled to be a part of Arts Umbrella as Executive Assistant to the President/CEO & Office Manager.
