Dante Gonzalez is a first year student of Arts Umbrella’s graduate program. He is a recent graduate of Canada’s National Ballet School. There, he honed his ballet, modern, jazz and contemporary dance abilities. In his recent years of training, he has had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as John Neumeier for his Anna Karenina, James Kudelka for his Nutcracker, and Peggy Baker in the creation process of new works. Additionally, Dante is greatly interested and invested in choreography and filmmaking. Among his biggest inspirations are young dance artists and as such, he is eager to begin his teacher assistant role with Arts Umbrella.
