November 29 is Giving Tuesday. As a non-profit organization, Arts Umbrella is committed to making our programs accessible to as many children and youth as possible. Today, consider a gift that will ensure our work continues to impact the community.
This year, you will have the opportunity to double your impact! Thanks to the generosity of a long-time individual donor, every donation, dollar for dollar, will be matched up to a total of $10,000 on November 29th!
Providing access to the arts is the cornerstone of everything we do at Arts Umbrella. As a not-for-profit organization, we are committed to making our high-quality arts education accessible to as many young people as possible. We intentionally prioritize accessibility, program depth, and program excellence.
A gift of $20 provides a student with studio quality art supplies and materials to use each class.
A gift of $50 ensures safe transportation for a student who requires it. Many of our programs offer subsidized travel in one of our vans or buses, helping to eliminate geographic barriers to student participation.
A gift of $100 connects thousands of school children across Metro Vancouver with the opportunity to witness a live dance or theatre performance completely free-of-charge. We are proud to partner with the Vancouver School Board and the Surrey School District, and welcome thousands of young people to attend no-cost matinee performances. For the young dancers and actors on stage, performing for their peers plays a vital role in their artistic growth.
A gift of your chosen amount ensures that all young people – regardless of economic or social circumstance – can participate in arts education.
