  • The Undocumented Trial of William C. Hopkinson Jan 8-11, 2016 Set in the room that witnessed the actual 1914 proceedings, this show re-examines the trial of Mewa Singh – accused of assassinating a prominent Canadian Immigration Inspector.   • Sunday Performance Series Jan 17, 2016 Arts Umbrella Dance Company performs new and innovative works-in-progress by leading Canadian choreographers alongside featured special guest artists. Performance Works, 1218 Cartwright St.
  • Sub Rosa – New Works by Jessica Jang Jan 22, 2016 Arts Umbrella instructor Jessica Jang will be presenting a new body of work at the YACTAC Gallery (inside Centre A Artist-Run-Centre) this Friday. Jessica’s work explores the theme of figure and girl-identified culture.The gallery will be transformed into a large installation of sculptures and paintings. Centre A229 E Georgia St.
  • Company Jan 22-Feb 14, 2016 The Stephen Sondheim musical follows commitment-phobic Bobby and the five married couples who are his best friends.
