Arts Umbrella’s newest location at 100th and King George in Surrey Centre is bringing high quality arts education to more children in Metro Vancouver than ever before. Classes start September 15, giving Surrey children and youth many opportunities to explore their creativity through classes in visual, media and performing arts.

Arts Umbrella Surrey programs provide children and youth with new skills and greater self confidence, helping them build a foundation for life-long success. The new location in Surrey Centre will allow thousands more children and youth ages 2-19 to access Arts Umbrella’s programs, the majority through free-of-charge outreach programs.

“Accessibility is a key part of our mandate, and this newest location in Surrey will help us make arts education available to so many more children,” says Lucille Pacey, Arts Umbrella President and CEO. “the Surrey community has been very supportive, and we are pleased to be able to provide beneficial programs to hundreds more children and youth in the Surrey Centre area this year, and for years to come.”
