Sarah Kelen

Sarah Kelen is an emerging multidisciplinary theatre artist from so-called "Vancouver," on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations.* An Arts Umbrella Theatre Program alumna, she has been working at Arts Umbrella in various capacities since graduating from the program in 2017, including inside the classroom, at the front desk, and in the theatre. Selected credits include: Acting in Bacchamania (Program Sound FM), Chai Time (InterCultural Association of Greater Victoria), Budding, The Rocky Horror Show, Everybody, and Cerulean Blue (Studio 58), Directing The Treadmill (IGNITE! Youth-Driven Arts Fest.) and Assistant Directing/Co-Writing One of a Kind (Deb Williams/Vancouver Children's Fest.). Outside of her artistic practice, Sarah enjoys collecting eclectic loungewear and reading in the sunshine. Sarah is a graduate of Studio 58.
