Paul Larocque

Paul is thrilled to be leading Arts Umbrella during a period of significant growth, notably, through the opening of its new 50,000 net-square-foot arts education centre on Granville Island, and the organization’s considerable reach in Metro Vancouver through tuition-based programs, as well as community programs and performances, distance learning, bursaries, and scholarships.

Previously, Paul held the position of Associate Director of the Vancouver Art Gallery for more than a decade.

With over three decades of involvement in the cultural sector, Paul is committed to promoting the importance of the arts and education in our communities. He is a member of Chor Leoni Men’s Choir, Granville Island Council, and serves as a volunteer with the Loran Scholars Foundation and the McCall MacBain Foundation.
