Karen joined the faculty of the Theatre, Music and Film department at Arts Umbrella in 2008 and has worked with children of all ages in various classes. Currently, she is heavily immersed in Community Programs. Her goal as an instructor is to provide a fun, creative and safe environment for students to express themselves physically, vocally and emotionally. Karen studied at Gastown Actors Studio and continues to hone her craft with various classes and workshops, most recently, Improv with Tightrope Theatre, The Drama Class and Shoreline Studios. In addition to being an actor, Karen has been involved in different aspects of the theatre and film industry for over twenty-five years and enjoys sharing her experience and passion for the arts with her students.
