Jasmine was born and raised in Richmond, BC, on the tradition, ancestral, and unceded territory of Musqueam and hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ (hun-ki-meen-um) speaking people. She is a graduate of the Dual Bachelor of Arts Program between Sciences Po & UBC, where she holds a BA in Law & Politics, and a BA in International Relations - and attributes her love of community-building and storytelling to her formative years in arts education. She has a passion for the performing arts and theatre, having performed in various community theatre productions throughout the lower mainland, and previously taught at the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra School of Music and Gateway Theatre. As an alumna of the pre-professional Musical Theatre Troupe (2016-2018), and a former Assistant Director (2018-2019), Jasmine is excited to be back and supporting the artistic development of children and youth.
