Join us at The Annex, #201 – 1504 Duranleau Street, Granville Island, to celebrate the students of the Summer Architecture Scholarship Program in partnership with BTY Group.

Architecture Summer Intensive is a one-week enriched program for teens ages 15-19 who are interested in having the unique opportunity to work with leading Vancouver architects while developing their portfolio and applied art practice.

This full-scholarship intensive was a stimulating and challenging experience for young architects that were committed to working both independently and collectively. The program provided them with the rare opportunity to work with some of Vancouver’s most celebrated architects. The cohort learned about creative approaches in building public spaces and new ways of seeing the built environment. In the studio environment they engaged in research, critique, and discussion to develop their ideas on sustainability by creating a public pavilion model with Vancouver’s vision of being the greenest city in the world.

Thank you to this year’s mentors!
Dan Ward – City Planner with Coquitlam
Allison Tweedie – Landscape Architect
Jamie Banks & Andrew Lockhart – Human Studios
Anne Sewell – MGA
Shelley Craig – Urban Arts
