Award-winning photographer Lincoln Clarkes has published three collections of photography—Heroines, Views, and Cyclists—and been the subject of two documentaries. His works depict a range of subjects, from a series documenting 400 women in the Downtown Eastside to a collection of 150 images of men and women riding bicycles. These and other collections have been exhibited at galleries in Vancouver, Toronto, and Seattle. Clarkes, who is self-taught in photography, has also exhibited his paintings, founded a fashion boutique, and fronted an art-wave band.
