Ed Spence’s practice spans many disciplines, including video, performance, text, sculpture, photography, and public installation. As a UBC Okanagan fine arts graduate, Spence received the President’s Purchase Award for a multi-channel video and sculptural installation. He is currently working alongside his wife, performance artist Julianne Chapple, to explore transhumanist futurism via sculpture and choreographed movement. His work is held in private and public collections across North America and Europe. He is represented by Franc Gallery in Vancouver and Qlick Gallery in Amsterdam.
