Programs

Since 1979, Arts Umbrella has been delivering high-quality arts education to children and youth in Vancouver and beyond.


Children of all ages and skill levels can discover the joy of creating and expressing themselves in a a safe and supportive environment. Innovative, inspiring and highly skilled instruction, together with small class size and high-quality supplies, create the Arts Umbrella magic.


For teens, Pre-professional and Professional programs are also available, and offer students an enriched artistic practice, with class work focusing on concept development, experimentation, presentation, collaborative projects and portfolio development. Students will have the opportunity to engage in group critiques, converse with guest artists, and visit local exhibitions and performances.

How to Register

Register for Fall, Winter and Spring sessions, at the same time! Registration for General programs opens June 1, 2011, and continues all year.

Set up your online account in advance of registration opening, to avoid delays.

Please note that registering in person, by phone or fax does not immediately guarantee registration in a class. Your information will be processed as quickly as possible, but as the online registration system is real time, we cannot give preference to in-person or telephone requests.

Additional information

Financial Aid

Bursaries are available for all programs, and are awarded based on financial need. Bursary applications must be submitted and approved before registering. For more information, including application forms, click here.

 

Dance Program
