Arts Umbrella maintains its strong commitment to excellence in student learning through small class size, high-quality supplies and materials, and innovative, highly skilled instruction. Arts educators bring their own inspiration, style and creativity into the classes, helping children discover the joy of creating and expressing their personal understanding of the world around them.

Pre-professional and Professional programs offer students an enriched artistic practice, with class work focusing on ideas, experimentation, presentation, collaborative projects, and the development of a student portfolio. Students will have the opportunity to engage in group critiques, converse with guest artists, and visit local exhibitions and performances.

Arts Umbrella bursaries allow greater access to tuition-based classes by assisting families overcome financial barriers to participation. To apply, complete a registration form and attached bursary application form and deliver by fax, mail or in person to the registrar. All applications are held in confidence.
