Jordan Chin

Jordan is the Human Resources Generalist at Arts Umbrella and has a vast background in the performing arts and HR. Coming from a theatre background, Jordan worked at Urban Ink Productions after completing her degree in Contemporary Arts at Simon Fraser University. While at Urban Ink, she managed the delivery of art programs for emerging artists and co-produced the show Silenced as part of the rEvolver Theatre Festival. She then transitioned to the world of HR, and has worked in industries such as technology and retail.

Jordan deeply believes in the importance of arts education and has been working with Arts Umbrella since August 2021. She holds a certificate from BCIT in Human Resources Management and works to build community and an inclusive culture at Arts Umbrella with her stellar team. Outside of HR, Jordan teaches dance and can be found dancing at various events around the city. She also loves her cat Sookie (named after the chef in Gilmore Girls) and enjoys scrapbooking and breakfast food.
