This year, HSBC Bank Canada donated $100,000 to Arts Umbrella to continue its title sponsorship of the HSBC Arts Umbrella Environmental Education program for another two years. The program combines science and the arts and is offered free of charge for elementary schools in Metro Vancouver. In 2012, the program has an exciting new series of workshops in mask making, character and movement, and digital imaging that explore ways the biodiversity of our oceans are at risk.

Arts Umbrella is grateful to have HSBC Bank Canada support to deliver free-of-charge outreach programs to vulnerable children and youth in Metro Vancouver.

“HSBC Bank Canada has worked to ensure that we share our success with the communities where we operate for over 30 years. While HSBC supports a variety of causes, the majority of our charitable giving is directed towards education and the environment. We are proud to be the title sponsor of the HSBC Arts Umbrella Environmental Education program, which combines science and the arts and is offered free of charge for elementary schools in Metro Vancouver.”
