Personal Contribution

Make a personal contribution to Arts Umbrella in one of these ways:

One-time Donation

Every dollar counts! Become a part of the Arts Umbrella family and help inspire kids for life through the arts!

Monthly Donation

An easy and convenient way to help guarantee the delivery of Arts Umbrella's programs. Your monthly donation will help us plan for the future and ensure we are able to maximize our investment in the program activities.

Gift of Securities

A gift of publicly traded securities (stocks, bonds, mutual funds) is the least expensive way to make a donation to Arts Umbrella.
In the May 2nd, 2006 budget, the Federal Government announced that Canadians who donate publicly traded securities to registered charities will not be required to pay capital gains tax on the appreciated portion of the shares' value. For example, Mr. Smith purchased a stock some time ago for $1,000, and it is now worth $10,000. If he gifted the stock to Arts Umbrella, he would not pay capital gains tax on the appreciated $9,000.

Planned Gift

Leave your own personal legacy to Arts Umbrella by making a planned gift. A planned gift is the ultimate expression of your values and of your support for Arts Umbrella's mission. Planned gifts help ensure Arts Umbrella's sustainability in the long term. Please contact us for more information about the many ways in which you can incorporate Arts Umbrella into your estate planning.
