Turning the Tide: A Multimedia Experience in Environmental Arts
FREE for all schools in the Metro Vancouver area.
This year’s program offers an exciting new series of workshops that explore ways the biodiversity of our oceans are at risk. Through a series of interconnected workshops in Mask Making, Character & Movement and Digital Imaging, students will be immersed in the ecological struggles our oceans face.
Workshops take place at Arts Umbrella located in the dynamic and creative community of Granville Island. School groups are provided with a lunchroom facility to accommodate a full-day field trip experience.
Arts Umbrella is able to accommodate one primary or intermediate class (Grades 1-7) for a full day. Workshops are held each Friday from 10-11:30 am and 12:30-2 pm.
Online bookings begin Friday, September 11, 2009 at 8 am.
