HSBC Arts Umbrella Environmental Education Program

Turning the Tide: A Multimedia Experience in Environmental Arts

FREE for all schools in the Metro Vancouver area.

This year’s program offers an exciting new series of workshops that explore ways the biodiversity of our oceans are at risk. Through a series of interconnected workshops in Mask Making, Character & Movement and Digital Imaging, students will be immersed in the ecological struggles our oceans face.

Workshops take place at Arts Umbrella located in the dynamic and creative community of Granville Island. School groups are provided with a lunchroom facility to accommodate a full-day field trip experience.

Online bookings begin Tuesday, September 14 at 8am.

New schools to the program must contact Susanne Moniz de Sá, Programming Liaison, at 604-681-5268, ext. 324 before the booking date to give their school information.

Schedule information will be available in September. Please check this page at that time for further details.
