Mount Pleasant, Queen Alexandra, Florence Nightingale and Simon Fraser.

No previous music experience required!

Students receive high quality music instruction in both contemporary and classical traditions. Public performances and opportunities to study with guest artists encourage students to achieve, explore their creative potential and develop a sense of community that will inspire them to succeed in life.

Available disciplines for Juniors:

Guitar, Drums and Piano
For students who have dreamed about singing or learning an instrument.
8-12 students per group. 1 hour group instruction per week. 2 half hour private lessons per month.

Guitar, Drums, or Piano - Private Lesson Stream
For advanced students recommended by a SMMO instructor. Up to 1 hour private lesson per week, as well as 1 hour of group instruction per week.

Sing, Move & Act
Explore singing, rhythm, movement and theatre, with a focus on making music with your voice. Work with a choir director and guest instructors from various artistic backgrounds to develop musical skills and teamwork abilities.
1.5 hours of group instruction per week.

Music Lab
A dynamic place to create music using today’s latest computer technology. Develop your musical ideas using beat programming and virtual instruments; record and produce your original tracks.
1 hour group instruction per week.
