Since 1989, Arts Umbrella has provided young people of all economic backgrounds the opportunity to reap the benefits of an arts education close to their home. Outreach programs take the Arts Umbrella magic, expertise and experience off the main site, and provide free, high-quality workshops in visual and theatre arts to pre-school, elementary and high school students in community centres, schools, pre-schools and other social centres. These workshops give an ever-growing number of young people opportunities to explore their creativity through drawing, painting, printmaking or acting.
