Come to Arts Umbrella, and make your contribution to public art, as part of Culture Days!
HeART of Community is a multi-generational, multi-cultural collaboration to build a community collage. With assistance from Arts Umbrella instructors, families are invited to create their images/expressions of what arts & culture means to them.
These reflections will be created at work stations set-up at Arts Umbrella on Sunday, Sept 26, from 11am - 3pm. The final images will be applied to an exterior wall of Arts Umbrella, to be on display for the following two weeks.

This event is part of Culture Days, a collaborative movement to raise the awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of all Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities. The annual Culture Days events across Canada will feature free, hands-on, interactive activities that invite the public to participate “behind the scenes,” to discover the world of artists, creators, historians, architects, curators, and designers in your community.
