Celebrating young artists

Arts Umbrella presents Expressions, an annual festival celebrating the boundless creativity of young minds – because young artists show us creativity at its brightest.

Expressions Festival brings inspired and cutting-edge dance performances, innovative and original theatre shows, and diverse art exhibitions to venues and stages throughout Vancouver. Every discipline, every class, and virtually every Arts Umbrella Spring session student showcases work during Expressions. The festival allows young artists to take pride in their accomplishments, and share that pride with family, friends, and the broader public.

Events include engaging Theatre presentations at the Waterfront Theatre, art exhibits representing all ages of Visual and Media Arts students, and a Dance season finale and recital at the Vancouver Playhouse.

Expressions: Dance

Young dancers take the stage for the extraordinary, cutting-edge AUDC Season Finale, and again for the Arts Umbrella Dance Recital.
